that skrub is mixing DC and Marvel
#18 to #16 - archael (08/01/2014) [-]
Mixing is fine, the creators allow it themselves with crossovers.

Being a fanboy in either direction is what makes a casual.

More used to people being series with this kind of crap.

Carry on, sir.

Iron man is not a ******* superhero! He is a normal guy with a hightec suit. The same goes with Batman.
#17 to #9 - archael (08/01/2014) [-]
It's the culmination of their abilities and technology that makes them super, you jackwagon.
User avatar #22 to #17 - fishandkids (08/01/2014) [-]
So every human being that lives in the western world and knows Karate, Kung fu etc is a super hero? Batman has nothing that a rich person can't get. When we get 50 years in the future is every single person in the western world a super person?
#23 to #22 - archael (08/01/2014) [-]
He has trained himself to his ultimate mental and physical peak. He is an expert in most known forms of hand to hand combat. He has been trained in tactics, warfare, engineering, chemistry, and is even regarded as the world's greatest detective.

Combine all that together with his arsenal of gadgetry and.... yeah.

Being rich doesn't mean you have the drive to become something more than human, a symbol that shines for everyone.

You really need to read more about Batman before you start talking about him.
User avatar #24 to #23 - fishandkids (08/01/2014) [-]
So you're telling me a rich person can not train in martial arts? That they can not get a hold of the same tecnology and so on? He is the greatest detective? Does that mean Messi is super human aswell?
#25 to #24 - archael (08/01/2014) [-]
Being capable of those things and EXCEEDING at them are different.

Seriously. Try researching Batman and his accomplishments. Just once.
User avatar #26 to #25 - fishandkids (08/01/2014) [-]
Are you this stupid? Oh look he is really good at several things. I have seen several Batman comics and tv Series where he is beaten in hand to hand combat several times. The only reason he wins is beacsue he is also very smart and has tecnology. However being very smart and having all mordern tecnology does not mean you are a super hero.
#27 to #26 - archael (08/01/2014) [-]
Well, like I said, it's the CULMINATION OF HIS CAPABILITIES.

But yeah, go ahead and say he isn't a "super" hero even though he's subdued and/or beaten numerous ones that actually were super.

Have fun being a pretentious asshat. Clearly your narrow views on the matter are entirely accurate.
User avatar #28 to #27 - fishandkids (08/01/2014) [-]
And what I am saying is that tecnology does not make you a super hero.
#29 to #28 - archael (08/01/2014) [-]
It was because of technology that a lot of superheroes even exist.

Spiderman, Hulk, Flash, Superman(carried to Earth, surviving, because of technology,) Cyborg, Captain America, Wolverine(adamantium skeleton and claws,) plus the numerous times the "super powered" heroes only won because of technology.

It's fine if you don't like the superheroes that heavily use technology, but you don't have to be an asshole about it and pretend that your opinion is guaranteed fact.
User avatar #31 to #29 - fishandkids (08/01/2014) [-]
Spiderman is radiation that is not possible to happen to a normal person, Hulk's injections change his own entire DNA. Flash I have no idea how he got his powers so I won't comment on it however he is still capable of doing something no other human now or ever will be able to do (same with Wolverine), Superman was born with all of his powers. Cyborg I agree with.

dark claw is part of a DC collected edition
and amalgam comics is debatably canon. marvel has given them a universe, but i dont know the position of DC on this.
#11 to #10 - awesomechardey (08/01/2014) [-]
Essentially Marvel and DC teamed up to make a few comics under the name of Amalgam. It's not just part Of a DC collectors edition, but equally made by both, marvel and DC.
#12 to #11 - applescryatnight (08/01/2014) [-]
no i know that, however half of amalgam comics were published by marvel and half were published by DC.
when they were reprinted, there were 2 DC collected editions and 2 marvel ones.
Legend of the Dark Claw was published by DC
it was part of the DC collected edition "Amalgam Age of Comics"
later, "Dark Claw Adventures" was also published by DC and in the DC collected edition "Return to Amalgam"

List of DC amalgam comics:
Amazon, Assassins, Doctor StrangeFate, JLX, Legends of the Dark Claw, Super Soldier, Bat-Thing, Dark Claw Adventures, Generation Hex, JLX Unleashed, Lobo the Duck, Super-Soldier: Man of War

list of Marvel amalgam comics:
Bruce Wayne Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., Bullets and Bracelets, Magneto and the Magnetic Men, Speed Demon, Spider-Boy, X-Patrol, Challengers of the Fantastic, Exciting X-Patrol, Iron Lantern, The Magnetic Men featuring Magneto, Spider-Boy Team-Up, Thorion of the New Asgods

the writers and companies did cooperate and characters did cross over but they were still published separately.
