The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who in the name of charity and good will shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord... When I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Both movies you should watch before you die, I'm not a big fan of grease, but Pulp Fiction is one of the greatest movies ever made.
User avatar #59 to #58 - DeeJayBee (12/24/2013) [-]
grease is a classic musical and pulp fiction is a nitty gritty crime film by quentin tarantino, would recommend

User avatar #34 - vexaton (12/24/2013) [-]
Grease was terrible in my opinion. Worth to see, but god-awful. I hate musicals :/ Pulp fiction was brilliant
User avatar #67 to #34 - schneidend (12/24/2013) [-]
Watch Chicago. Best musical ever, and I don't really like musicals, either.
User avatar #72 to #67 - vexaton (12/24/2013) [-]
Ok, I don't just hate musicals. I despise them. Any random singing in movies is just plain wrong. It's not even plausible. It's so fake... I like my movies to be realistic.
User avatar #73 to #72 - schneidend (12/24/2013) [-]
Well, in 99% of musicals, the characters aren't actually singing at all. The singing and dancing doesn't happen in-universe.

"Realistic"? What's your favorite movie, if I might ask?
User avatar #74 to #73 - vexaton (12/24/2013) [-]
Well, I'm talking human emotion and interaction when it comes to the "realistic" part. I'm not really sure what my favorite movie is... I've seen a lot.

When you say that it doesn't happen in-universe, you didn't remember to say that the fact that it is, is never mentioned in the movies themselves. There's no explanation, just pure song and dance. Like take disney for an example. I love a lot of movies they have made, but god damnit, if I hear another ******* cheesy song about love and **** sung by a bear, I'm gonna snap.
User avatar #75 to #74 - schneidend (12/24/2013) [-]
It doesn't need to be mentioned. It's an unwritten rule that has existed for as long as movies have had sound.
#52 - nimithecat (12/24/2013) [-]
GUYS... TELL ME I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE SEEING THIS!!!
User avatar #44 - fuzzyballs (12/24/2013) [-]
I always skip the part of Pulp Fiction with Uma Thurman
I just don't like her stupid face
User avatar #48 to #44 - landerp (12/24/2013) [-]
Hey that's a great movie! But she does kind of have a stupid face
User avatar #55 to #48 - fuzzyballs (12/24/2013) [-]
did I say it was a bad movie? when I say "I always skip", doesn't that imply I've watched it more than once? I even have the "bad mother ****** " wallet
#15 - anon (12/24/2013) [-]
I hate John Travolta's acting. Bring me red thumbs.
User avatar #22 - jewsburninindaoven (12/24/2013) [-]
Shut up description. If you haven't seen these movies, carry on your happy life and never subject yourself to the pain and horror of watching these crap movies. It's too late for me, save yourself

It's Gus. btw, I was mostly referring to Grease. That movie was like waterboarding
User avatar #49 to #30 - landerp (12/24/2013) [-]
All of these anti-Grease comments are getting downthumbed to **** but Grease was just one of those movies that our parents loved and showed us and we were just like wtf am i watching and when will it be over.
User avatar #71 - lumpymandude (12/24/2013) [-]
That's right everybody, you should kill yourself if you don't want to watch a stupid musical with John Travolta
User avatar #70 - prycebear (12/24/2013) [-]
I recently built and managed the set for grease, I was credited as being grease lightning....
User avatar #69 - thebeerdude (12/24/2013) [-]
Bring on your hate, but i think Grease is a ******* great film. The extreme overacting and sugar-sweet ************** would in anyother movie have driven me insane, but this one's a classic.
The same with movies like Rambo - no one acutally thinks it's a masterpiece, but nonetheless it's good stuff.
