A primitive pythagorean triple is a set of 3 numbers that satisfy pythagoras' theorem without having any common divisor. The smallest PPT is [3,4,5] because 3^2 + 4^2 = 5^2 and they have no common divisor.

The Pythagorean theorem states that for a right triangle, the following is true.
a^2 + b^2 = c^2
a and b are both legs of the triangle while c is the longest side
A triple is a set of numbers for which this equation is true.
A primitive triple is a set of numbers that doesn't have a common factor between all 3.
